The launch date for this blog was 29 July, 2011 and was designed to feature the arts, artists, musicians and craftspeople on the island of Skopelos, Greece.
In early 2016 the focus of SkopelosArts expanded to include a collection of themes including art related subjects beyond Skopelos as well as political and social events and other themes of interest.
The author is Tom Dempsey an artist and co-director of the Island Center for the Arts (www.islandcenter.org) and an island resident since 1997.
