Kelogeros

Kalogeros Rock from the southeast. Agios Iannis sto Kastri is way off in the background.

The iconic rock “Kelogeros” sits slightly offshore from its eponymous area of Skopelos. As most are aware, Kalogeros means monk – (kalo-good / geros-old person). Although the area is very close to Skopelos port by sea, the long and winding road from the village out past the rubbish dump is a journey.
