What he basically says is that the problem of hiring people to work under temporary contracts is a process that politicians put into place to serve their own interests. It is a form of patronage (and slavery) which wiggles past the public hiring freeze dictated by the EU, the EU central bank and the IMF.
At the end he points out that even though the trash is not being collected people still throw their trash on top of the pile.
Supposedly the strike will finish tomorrow (Thursday). Let’s see.
