…that buzzing in your ears?

Don’t blame it on cicadas, at least not yet.

Yesterday Skopelos was buzzed by at least 5 “microlights”. Most likely a club outing, the group was composed of flex-wing micro airplanes and gyroplanes (like a little helicopter). It was a bit confusing for this observer to tell what was what because the aircraft hold only one or two persons and are tiny from a distance. One can hear them long before one sees them (if ever). The fleet arrived from the northeast and disappeared from view somewhere beyond Stafilos. The weather was perfect for such a junket – light wind and clear skies.

Exactly who they were and what they wanted remains under investigation.
