Ριγάκη

Apologies for the poor photo but getting a close-up of a curved surface is difficult.
The label is from a 480 gram bottle of semi-sweet (Ημίγλυκο) wine bottled by the Brothers Rigaki (Αδελ.Ρ.Ριγάκη) in Volos.
The label also includes the license number of 62394 dated 19 September 1961. The Μπωμε (Baumé) “3” with 13% alcohol.

Nicely done label – easy to read with a hint of grandeur and Art Deco.
The cast bottle is a beaut.

    • It is an unusual bottle. Different wineries used to (still do?) borrow distinctive containers from each other via the recycling process. I’m not sure how it worked but each bulk wine producer (Tyrnavou, Malamatina, Dimitra) used a distinctive 500ml bottle though sometimes you’d find Tyrnavou in a Malamatina flagon.
